Black and Blue:
Policing and the African-American Experience

A Back-to-Back focusing on the uniquely frustrating experiences and viewpoints police and black citizens have as they encounter each other in challenging circumstances in their work and lives.  Come listen as Pastor Ennis Tait and Col. David Bailey stand in each other’s shoes to talk about police-community relations. The two will present the facts, arguments, and beliefs from the other’s perspective until the other says, “I couldn’t have said it better myself!”With participants:

Chase Law School and The Ohio Justice and Police Center will open the evening with a brief explanation of the legal and constitutional context in which troubling encounters can occur.
